Finding of a high-quality president

On 23rd January, the Institute for Christian Democratic Politics and Hanns Seidel Foundation organized a debate on finding of a new president as we are to elect a new one in a year from now.

Michael Kocáb, a spokesperson of Kroměřížská výzva, and Karel Janeček an author of the Prezident 21 game represented projects aimed at choosing a right candidate for presidential election. Sociologist Jan Spousta on the other hand represented a critical voice. He thinks that the idea of letting people to suggest who should be a new president is a good one, the problem is that both project target, or at least managed to attract, just a one group of people in the society, that is why the results does not reflect an actual demand within the society.

The discussion was hosted by Veronika Sedláčková.

Throughout the entire evening the guests and visitors enjoyed music by the Adams Emily duo.
